Healthy Butter Chicken


How many of you have started a workout plan & the next day craved delicious Indian food? I know I have! This delicious butter chicken is damn healthy and hits the spot. Made with olive oil & jaggery/stevia. This one won't mess up your diet!


RECIPE


Ingredients:
For Marination
  • 200 gms Boneless Chicken
  • 4 tbsp Curd
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Chickpea Flour
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
For Curry
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 inch ginger (Finely Chopped)
  • 6 Red Tomatoes (Blended to Fine Paste)
  • 1 packet Maggi Masala
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tbsp Jaggery (Or 4-5 drops of Stevia)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Cream
  • Salt to taste
Directions:
  1. Put 1 tsp of oil in a pan & roast the chickpea flour until golden brown & fragrant.
  2. Put in all the ingredients for the marination & let it sit for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Cook the chicken in an air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 7-8 minutes. Don't throw away the remaining curd, we will add it to the curry.
  4. For the curry, add oil in a pan and cook the ginger & garlic on low until golden brown & fragrant.
  5. Then add the blended tomatoes & all the spices, bring to boil.
  6. Let the curry cook on low for 10-15 mins while stirring occasionally.
  7. Add the chicken and cook on low for another 7-8 mins.
  8. Add the fresh cream on top and your delicious & healthy Butter Chicken is ready!
